Hangar supply systems for aircraft maintenance

Hycom hangar hydraulic supply system of ALC design is suitable for:

•maintenance and overhaul checks of AMM/ATA chapter 29
•filling and draining of aircraft reservoir
•flushing of aircraft hydraulic system to Class 6 NAS1638 or better
•test with automatic level control of the aircraft reservoirs.

Hycom ALC system advantages:

•only a remote control console on the hangar floor
•hardly any noise on the hangar floor

Hycom ALC hangar supply system can be used on all Airbus and Boeing civilian aircraft. The fluid in the aircraft reservoir will be kept at operational level during all tests.No unallowed filling or draining of aircraft reservoir is possible.

This is achieved by a Hycom hydraulic interface unit (HIU) which converts the signal of the a/c reservoir level and communicates it with the hydraulic control valves in the return line. As soon as the hoses, HIU and operator console have been connected, the system automatically recognizes the aircraft model and its required settings.
